The cake was covered in buttercream. The flower/leaf accents on the piping were made of gumpaste and highlighted with silver luster dust on the edges. The sunflowers on the top (one facing the front, and one facing the back – which you cannot see in the pic) were made from gumpaste and dusted with petal dusts.
