Meet Bette the Ladybug!! She’s an adorable creation I a made for a wonderful young lady’s baby shower. This cake was an after though by the mother, to match some cupcakes she was making. I originally planned to just match the cupcakes, but then decided i wanted to add some personality to the cake. I borrowed some elements I enjoyed from different pictures I found online, and put it them all together to make Bette. I couldn’t be happier with her!!

The cake is red velvet with vanilla buttercream, covered in fondant. The antennae and bow are modeling chocolate.
