My first go at a tiered wedding cake

This was my first go at a wedding cake and I made it for a friend. I had never stacked a cake before I made this one (which was in the summer of this year 2011). I wanted to add this cake as although I feel there were definately a few changes I would make if I did it again, I am still very proud of my first wedding cake and it means I can look back after doing my next one and see how I have improved :-)

The cake was traditional fruit cake fed with lots and lots of brandy :-)
