This little chap actually wasn’t little at all, constructed from an mammoth 8" sphere of traditional rich fruit cake wrapped in marzipan (body), a 6" spherical chocolate cake with salted chocolate buttercream (head) and a 4″×4″ stacked vanilla sponge top hat, he stood over 19" tall and I was a bit worried he might topple over, but we made it up to London in one piece! Hurrah! Merry Christmas!
