This is a birthday cake I made a couple of weeks ago for a young girl’s birthday. She wanted the spider cake and I think it turned out great!

For this cake I used the “pumpkin spice” marshmallows to make my fondant, which gave me an excellent orange base color to start with. The letters are from tappits and the webs are piped from thinned black fondant. I thinned the fondant with water and corn syrup. The spiders were not edible.
