Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world. Taking place on Oct 31-Nov 2, family and friends gather to remember those who have died. Traditions include honoring the deceased using sugar skulls and the favorite foods of the departed, visiting their graves with these as gifts.
