For one of my Fairy Tale wedding cakes I had to use Rapunzel as inspiration. What little girl hasn’t longed for long flowing locks at some point in their lives! I wanted it to be a pretty cake as I always imagined her as a real damsel in distress so vintage applique lace it had to be. The flowers are pink roses, lilacs, and include blackberries, I always imagined the base of the tower were she was kept to be covered in brambles and so inspired me, plus they are very pretty, and I wanted them to cascade. The little pedestal cake stand between the tiers just adds a little bit of extra height. Kathryn xxx
