My first try at anything like this and, although it was intimidating to say the least, I was pretty happy with the way it turned out and so was the young gentlemen who ordered it. Whew! I loved the sentiment on the card. Very romantic. Lid was rkt covered in chocolate fondant. The rest of the cake was covered in chocolate fondant also. The elements are gumpaste and everything is edible. Cake was chocolate with fresh strawberry and vanilla bavarian cream filling.
