I was told that Gianna loves ARIEL and RAINBOWS! So…I made sure that Gianna got BOTH for her 4th Birthday cake. :)

This was SOOO much fun to make. Ariel is my very FIRST hand-modeled human fondant figurine ever! (Okay, well half-human/half-fish, but you know what I mean! LOL!)
One of my favorite parts to create was her hair (which I wanted to be very multi-dimensional instead of just flat). I marbleized the fondant that covered each tier to create a “sea” as well as a “sky”.
The bottom tier is vanilla with cherry filling, and the top is vanilla almond rainbow cake! Both are covered in vegan vanilla buttercream, and the cakes are dairy-free.
