Key Lime Pie Cupcakes

These were inspired by my Key Lime Pie! I used a homemade pie crust to line the cupcake liners. I then made a key lime cupcake batter, filled liners, and baked. Once cooled, I filled the cupcakes with key lime pie filling and then topped them with key lime cream cheese frosting. I sprinkled them with key lime zest and finished off with a sliver of a key lime. Yum!
