This cake was my entry into the ‘Sculpted Novelty Cake’ category at Cake International, Manchester in March 2014.
It is all cake, there are no internal supports. The leopard print detail is hand-painted and the keys (a complete afterthought the evening before the show as I felt it was missing something!) are hand-cut from flower paste.
I loved making it (handbags are my FAVOURITE thing to create) and was stunned when it won a Gold Award in its category :) Hope you like it!
