This cake definitely does not look like a typical baby shower cake. That’s because the recipient had strong ideas….and one was that the cake NOT look like a baby shower cake!!! No baby paraphernalia on the cake…diapers, baby bottles, baby blue colour etc. No foo foo flowers either……AND no fondant!! Yikes….what to do???? So I came up with the bluish/ green & grey colours in buttercream. A gumpaste bow, combo paper/gumpaste butterflies and a paper doily flower….didn’t think the paper flower seemed too foo foo….hee hee
