My daughter turned 7 on the 7th this year ~ her golden birthday. This is a simple 6" chocolate cake filled an iced with vanilla buttercream. Her only request was for me to include her favorite colors: pink, light blue, purple and red. We colored the filling layers of buttercream and added the sparkly red heart amongst all the golden ones on the outside. She loved it!
