Poker Cake 2013 v 2014

I absolutely adore this cake! I attempted it in 2013 only 3 months after I’d taken an interest in baking and it stressed me out no end!!!
I revisited the same cake a year on in March this year and wow! How much has my craft improved!!

I love this cake, especially when you can see your improvement, the difference is just amazing. I think when we start feeling secure and safe as cake decorators, that is when we start thinking "outside of the box ", experimenting and making our design ever better, and your photos are the proof.
