Created this cake for a photoshoot with a local photographer. Stylized Southern Magnolia with blush pink anemones, green hydrangeas fillers, burgundy berries, and some “branches” for a natural, rustic feeling. I got a little help from my lovely cake friend, Kara of Kara’s Couture’s Cakes, who gave me pointer for the branches. The gold was a muted gold, achieved through a mix of gold highlighter and gold petal dust, mixed with alcool/everclear.
