I love butterflies, they are beautiful, gentle and graceful little creatures. Here are a collection of butterflies in fondant and rice paper laid over a chocolate mud cake with dark chocolate ganache. I tried to create different textures and colours, some with stained glass effects and high gloss. This is one of those cakes where I kept fiddling with it and adding butterflies and had to physically lock it away in another room out of sight! Can’t wait to see the reaction of the very deserving lovely lady this cake is intended for.
