I had been wanting to do a cake in ‘scales’ for a long time. I’m not sure why, because it took forever! LOL! but I love the effect. The scales are in an ombre teal pattern, with a wafer paper edible topper. The cake is Vanilla Almond Butter cake with Vanilla Almond buttercream filling & white chocolate ganache.
