I made this cake as a christening cake, this is without the decorations I later added as I thought it looked beautiful simple, and would make a lovely wedding cake with a couple more tiers.
The ruffles are made from fondant and the top tier is brushed with bridal satin pearlescent dust. The butterflies are fondant, then dusted and painted.
