A welcome to the world celebration cake, ordered by mum way before the big day. Bub arrived on time and mum even had couple of weeks to recuperate before the party :-)
This is a double barrel choc mud cake, 6kg of it! It was huge. The ruffles took much longer than i expected. The 1st ruffle went on at 1am and i heard the birds chirping outside and sun rising when i placed the last ruffle on – fiddly little things haha I made the sugar teddy according to mums wishes. It was inspired by the original design, I spruced it up a little, changed the colours and colour matched it with the cake :-)
