Use cake straws, fill straw with royal icing. Push the wired flowers into the straw. Then, a bit more royal icing in a inconspicuous place behind the flowers, push into cake. Your royal icing will set up hard, and your flowers will stay in place. Or use melted white chocolate, it will do the same thing. Hope this helps.
