Is the market indoors or outdoors?? What is your weather like. Assuming it’s your fall there, as it’s spring here.
I have transported cupcakes in a large plastic container. The kind that slides under your bed, for extra storage, works great. I line the container with a rubber mat and cupcakes don’t move. You’ll have cupcakes out to sell, and the rest will be in the container nice and fresh. If it was hot, I would have suggested using cold pacs., to prevent melting. I found this out the hard way. I did about 50 for a wedding, transported in the hottest August day ever! A lot of the cupcakes icing began to melt…..grrrr. Now, I would freeze them iced, then pack and transport. I’ve gotten smart in my old age….. Hee Hee. As far as your dummy cakes, if you keep them from direct light, they should be fine. After going to all the work of decorating the dummies….don’t throw them out, re-use until they begin to fade.

Creativity is God's gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God. Clarky's Cakes 😎

I’ve kept one of my dummy cakes for over a year now… my last show I spruced it up with a pearl spray, but thats it. THey are nice to have on display if you ever to consults or tastings

For crowd pleasers (especially with kids) stick to basics… and kids love decorated cookies and anything on a stick
