I think that’s a great idea!

Me too!

Me four!

Well that’s enough people interested IMO to get it started. I think I will check on this post for replies and edit the topic to add to the list so just start listing places you like, if you can include maybe why you like it and maybe what you like to buy from the site if you only go for specific items. Hopefully this will help some of us find new sites to add to the ones we already love. I will post mine later!

http://www.globalsugarart.com I used this site for my cake dummies. It was the best price + shipping I found and I was pleased with shipping time and product.

http://fondantsource.com nice pricing and quick shipping!

Don’t know how many of you were familiar with Bake it Pretty, but they’d recently closed that online store and re-branded – they JUST opened their new site, “Sweet as the Punch” so they’re gradually adding items, but to my understanding it will have most of the same items we all loved on Bake it Pretty! For anyone who likes the swirls on my cupcakes, buy their “Best Ever Cupcake Icing Kit”!! You won’t be sorry! :) Lots of pretty cupcake liners, too! http://www.sweetasthepunch.com/

Very cool keep them coming! I will edit this later tonight after the kids are sleeping and I will be able to focus my own thoughts. I personally like http://sugarcraft.com/ when I want to place big orders for lots of odd and ends, shipping isn’t terrible (I’m very picky about shipping living on a island in Alaska).

http://www.countrykitchensa.com/ is another good site, I also like Amazon http://www.amazon.com/ for the free shipping although sometimes the price of the item is higher and there is a limited selection of cake supplies on their site. They do have good prices for baking pans and they usually fit in the free shipping category. No clue how these free sites do international orders, All are USA companies.

Plus, if you use lots of brown, greaseproof cupcake liners like I do (!) a great site to buy them from is http://www.simplycaked.com/ and a nice box supplier is BRP Box Shop found here http://brpboxshop.com/cupcake-boxes.html

I agree on Amazon. Since it wasn’t an actually cake supply store I didn’t want to list it, but that’s actually where I’ve gotten probably 50% of my online cake supplies. Free shipping is the best!

I have used http://www.goldaskitchen.com/ a few times I find there is a big selection of cutters, molds and fondant tools and it is Canadian so the shipping isn’t crazy for me. I also like http://sugarcraft.com/ and one of my new site that I really like (mostly because I LOVE the Mat) is http://www.sweetwise.com/
I have never tried amazon, anyone know if they ship to canada?

Yes, they do. Here is a page with more info on their shipping policies and practices outside of the U.S. if you’re interested:

I swear I am going to edit this! I got a emergency cake order tacked onto my weekend so my brain feels like it’s been in a blender the last 24 hours. Valley Kool Cakes I live in Kodiak Alaska (it’s a island in AK) Amazon is our lifeline for shopping in general up here. Always double check the shipping though. I have paid dearly for it, 4.5oz of Americolor was 7-8 bucks and 32 bucks shipping. Didn’t realize it till long after I ordered. I had placed a big order and thought the shipping cost was for another item. Also sometimes they stop shipping stuff up here. I was getting foamcore boards from them, was a great price. Pretty sure it was costing them more than it was worth to ship it to me so they suddenly wouldn’t ship here anymore. They are a great company I buy so much from them but if you find a supply you like for a really good price stock up :)

Thanks Jessica, I will keep that in mind =)

i like to get my cocoa powder from The Prepared Pantry: https://www.preparedpantry.com/ they have the most wonderful dark cocoa powders that are very reasonably priced and shipping is not too bad. i get the Ramstadt-Breda Rich Dark Cocoa (Holland)—Large one pound pack for $8.49. they also have other baking ingredients, extracts, americolor, and kitchen gadgets.

I have been getting a lot of my supplies from CakeSupplies4U They ship out the same day and I always get help from them when I need it!

Hey everyone thank for listing places, I finally edited the shops. Sorry my computer broke and than got busy busy busy so thought I would take a quick moment and edit it . I also added some places I found over the years but no one mentioned so I labeled them “untried”. I wanted to try and mention as many places as possible but if no one on this post has mentioned they personally used that site I find I will mark it as such until myself or someone has used it. I’m sure the sites are legit, some have huge fan bases on facebook but playing it safe for the people on this site. Also there was another packaging site I have heard about time and time again and now it’s slipped my mind. If anyone knows another packaging shop just let me know. Trying to organize it kind of by what they specialize in so when people are just looking for something like molds, airbrushes or packaging they can hopefully find it easier.

I use www.cakedeco.com a lot, their customer service is really good. Be careful with CK products, they seem to be having an issue with credit card numbers that are being stolen from people who buy from them. Mine was stolen twice in the last 6 months, and I’ve heard from other people who had the same thing happen. It all seems to go back to that site.

Ty Costumeczar for the warning! Is the problem with CK products from ckproducts facebook page? I went to CKproducts.com and they had a option to shop on their facebook page. I have never directly bought CK products from them.

I love www.brpboxshop.com for cupcake boxes. I got SPS off of www.fondantsource.com and 10×14 cake boards from The Bakers Kitchen.
These were the cheapest, reliable suppliers I found for those items.

I also just got brown cupcake liners off of Papermart.com for $13.35 for 500. The white liners I have were from Viking for about $25 for 1,000. All of the prices include shipping.

Hi everyone – is the list at the top of the thread all USA suppliers and should there be a list started for UK and other places too?
