I SO love this community and it’s the first place I ever read an interview about cake decorators and many of the past interviews have been about my idols so I was thrilled to be asked. Hi Violet, loved your interview and enjoy your beautiful cakes. I’m not that far away really just the other side of Toronto. As you mentioned there are not many cake competitions out there for us ( I’m just a hobby baker) but there are several guilds/ cake decorator groups and some of them offer contests. I belong to and thoroughly enjoy the CCDG Canadian Cake Decorators Guild my chapter being in Mississauga but I know there is a chapter in TO led by Jamie Ho. just wondering if you were familiar with it as we get the opportunity to share ideas / test new products
