Bethann my daughter is partial vegan. This is the recipe she uses and she gave me. I’ve not made it, but she has.

It’s from a Canadian site, but pretty sure you’ll be able to get the same supplies where you are.

I need a good vegan recipe, too. I did a cake this weekend and had to purchase Satin Ice. It was nice, but I’d never worked with it before. After a few hours I found it to be very dried out and cracking everywhere. It was a shame because it cost me an arm and a leg. :/
We don’t have a huge jewish population where I live, but I will definitely add this to my arsenal just in case. :D

You also need to make sure there isn’t a small D next to the circled U – that means it’s milky and for lactose intolerant and Jewish people this could be a problem. Nom Nom, food also has to be cooked in a kosher kitchen for it to be acceptable for Jewish people to eat. For example you most likely cook milk and meat in the same oven and use the same pots and pans whereas Jews have 2 of each bc we don’t mix meat and milk.
Happy baking!

Thank you CakesCakesCakes.. :D D for sharing <3 <3 :D

Please could I ask what makes Kosher fondant different and why you can’t eat the usual kind?
I’d like to understand more. xx

How can this be kosher when it contains marshmallow? Marshmallow is made from gelatin. Gelatin is made from pig bones. So it is neither vegan nor kosher.
