I love Debbie’s cakes – wonderfully imaginative designs. A lot of the cakes have such a sprinkling of humour to them as well – they’re great to look at. I love going through each cake in her books, imagining how I would make it first, and then seeing how Debbie made it.

I remember 10 years ago, I started out the same way. My 3 year old had a long neck dino cake (i’ll never forget my first cake) and I went to the library and took out all the cake decorating books they had! Most of them were Debbie Brown :-) Thank you debbie, love your style xx

On 2008 I started decorating cakes with sugarpaste, and was on 2009 that I felt completely in love with everything that could be achieved thanks to Debbie Brown’s book Magical Cakes. She was my very first cake idol! <3
