I love this Alli! I cant believe you have only been decorating cakes since 2011! I need more practice in fondant~ I mainly specialize in buttercream.. probably due to starting back in 1980s~ LOL

I really enjoyed making this one and used my trusty half a football tin but cut in lots of extra panels for the shell. its better covering with chocolate sugarpaste as the more I “caressed” it to work into the nooks and crannies of the shell…the warmth from my hands shined him up too! My customers son called him Stanley and refused to allow the cake to be cut!
And yes, I really have only been actually decorating for just over two years..have always baked and cooked but never to the level I think I am at now. I tend to try and read up as much as possible and follow tutorials and many times I will sit and sketch and work things out on paper until I know what I am going to do. I love it x

I love the 1/2 football idea for shape, and I use my half round ball pan for many cakes! Thanks again for the info! :)
