Verusca… what a poignant, beautiful interview. I loved reading your story and there certainly has been some sadness in your life. I think you are an incredible young woman to have worked your way though some rough paths to reach you well deserved gal so far and sure you will climb higher. You are so clearly an artist and your attention to detail in your work shows an eye of an artist. I have friends living in Sao Paulo actually :)
I love your work and the lovely person you are reflects in your work… I totally agree with “The smile” that brings such joy when people see their cakes… I feel the same and the love of creating is most fulfilling for my soul … and yours too I see.

Great interview Verusca .. if there’s one thing I know, since I’ve had the privilege of meeting you and having you as a teacher, no matter how ‘big’ you get in the cake world you will still be there for your family & friends … and the many friends in your cake family. I am in awe of your generosity and your amazing talent and I wish you success in your new ventures next year. How very exciting for you .. but more exciting for the world of cakes .. look out, Verusca’s coming!!!! (your little brother will be so proud of his big sis xxx)

Verusca you are definitely one of my idols. I remember searching the web years ago and you were one of the very first people I know who was generous enough to share her work and tutorials with us. You work surely is EdibleArt and each design you make is superb.
Your interview is from the heart and your life experiences have all played a role in where you are today. I’m certain your mother and brother are both right beside you watching your cakes come to life. Spirit has a great way of pushing you forward and helping you find strength you never thought you had. Congratulations on all your success!

What a great interview, Verusca! You showed your vulnerable side. I am amazed at not only your talent, but the strength of your spirit and your soul. I cannot imagine losing loved ones but I am sure that you are turning that into something positive. You are a wonderful person, Verusca… although I do not know you personally, your kindness and generosity transcends time and space. It is a great pleasure to be part of a community with same passion and interest.
My emotions are all over the place today, specially after reading some of the comments, so…. I am trying to type with my eye full of happy tears.
I have no doubt that I have two angels looking after me above but nothing this would be possible if a didn’t have my little angels here on earth. Thank you all.

Understand…. we must live life with integrat and be true to our believes. We are nothing just dust, what we are will disappear but our actions will stay forever.
You saw what happened in Connecticut US yesterday. How many lives that imbecile changed, and for how many generations he will remember with hate and
