Did this cake a few years ago but it’s my favourite farm cake done so far. Thsis 1st Birthday cake was inspired by the birthday boy’s quilt that his mom sent me pictures of. It has all the animals that are depicted on the cake but she wanted brighter colours so the cake would be more fun as the quilt has more of a vintage feel. I had fun with this one and thought it turned out super cute. All the animals and barn topper were hand cut from fondant. There was also a matching smash cake. TFL =D

Oh Violet, this is super cute!! I am doing a farm theme for my grandson’s 2nd birthday in March. I hope mine turns out adorable too! I have seen some of your other farm themed cakes, and they are all so cute!

Jan – the blue sheep is actually my favourite and I wanted to feature him in the front but alas, the mom chose the horse as the star lol
