I saw this design from Tortentante last Christmas and fell in love with it. (Thank you Tortentante for the tutorial on your blog!) This 4" cake is for charity, the first of four. Wow, square cakes are fiddly, especially with no buttercream underneath! I had to use almond sugarpaste as it turns out marzipan is pretty hard to come by here in NZ, interesting. Hopefully I’ll have time to try making my own soon.
