Despite not having any tattoos myself, I love tattoo art and especially Old Skool (Japanese Koi tattoos are definitely running a close second but I am yet to try and put this on a cake).

I wanted to offer an alternative wedding cake design for modern brides, but still keep it quite pretty and romantic. That said, I have exhibited this a couple of times and it’s not to most peoples taste… until I met one lady who just stood staring at it for 30 minutes. Perhaps it’s like marmite, love it or loathe it!

Handpainting is done in cocoa butter.
