Love padlocks

Love padlocks

Most of my cakes are inspired by images, countries, songs or love shows that are usually between couples.

A fashion among couples is to put padlocks on the bridges of the cities as a sign of an eternal, faithful and lasting love.

Strolling one day in Aranjuez I could see that by the small bridge where the Tagus passes, there were some padlocks but very few, that means that the couples who put them there at that time wanted to record their eternal love for years.

At the same time I could also be inspired by a fashion singer, an artist who is marveling the world with his lyrics, it’s about Ed Sheeran.

I discovered it before being known in a concert that was televised and heard by chance while doing housework.

Her song Photografh touched me so much that since that day I am a faithful follower of her music and her voice.

My favorite song from his last album is Perfect and it’s the one that inspired me, some of his paragraphs say:

“Because we were only children when we fell in love without knowing what it was.

This time I will not give up on you, but honey, just kiss me slowly,

your heart is all that I possess and in your eyes you hold mine.

Honey I’m dancing in the dark with you in my arms, barefoot on the grass listening to our favorite song.

When you said you saw yourself in a mess I whispered under my breath but you heard it.

Dear, tonight you are perfect "

And I think the cake reflects that love, that wants to be eternal with the locks uniting forever, looking into each other’s eyes, together and embracing each other saying they are “perfect for each other”.
