This was my first attempt at a ruffle cake. I learned a lot. I have a lot of practice still to do to get it right. I didn’t hate the results, but I didn’t love it either. I should’ve put the strips of fondant on with the dots facing in so that when the riffles fell out you could see more of the dots.
The lady bug was the smash cake for the birthday girl.
The inside was red velvet cake.
