How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon

Made for my son Eliots 8th birthday! The character of Hiccup is modeled on both Hiccup and my son Eliot to combine their features. Dragon and Hiccup/Eliot sculpted from 50/50 gumpaste/fondant. Cake is pina colada cake with coconut pineapple buttercream, pineapple upside down filling and white chocolate ganache.

You did a great job on this one! I love how you antiqued the birthday banner.

Thank you Tiffany! The dragon scared me bad…. Wasn’t sure I could do it! In the end I am happier with this cake than any I’ve made in a long time and Eliot just loved it!
