One of my favorite cakes was made for Sugar Magazine. It was such an honor to make a cake for them! I made strands and strands (yes – took forever – but so worth it!!) of individual silver chains placed in a off-set diagonal design. The bottom tier is full of pleated ruffles and it’s topped with a giant frilled peony, gumpaste berries and pine needles all tipped in sanding sugar. Hope you enjoy! :)
