This cake was made for my daughter’s 12th birthday and each element was chosen by her -the vanilla orchids ,the base -I did try to persuade her to go in for a more girl y design ;but she was very clear about how she wanted her cake to look -all grown up and sophisticated smile emoticon
I just love it when I get to make flowers close to nature and here is my attempt to replicate the sweet and delicate vanilla orchids . Don’t miss out the young vanilla beans !
