I had a client that was a gunsmith and liked the University of Tennessee. So, I incorporated them both in this cake. I got my inspiration from the University of Tennessee’s symbol of the volunteer with his rifle. I created a wooden crate cake with the a Tennessee volunteer on the side. The crate is filled with a shipment of chocolate guns. The cake is a French silk chocolate cake filled with a ghiragelli chocolate buttercream. The UT hat on top is a vanilla/almond cake covered in fondant

You did a fabulous job, Karen! My next door neighbor, a beautiful lady in her 70’s who is a firearms safety instructor and bleeds orange would go crazy for this cake! For someone so new to cake decorating, you undoubtedly have your mom’s talent because your cake designs are very good. Can’t wait to see more :o)
