This is the biggest cake I’ve made so far, made for my friend’s 40th birthday party. Tiers of chocolate torte (filled with chocolate ganache buttercream and covered with dark chocolate ganache), strawberry and champagne cake (soaked with champagne sugar syrup, filled with strawberry jam and buttercream and covered with white chocolate ganache) and chocolate cake (filled and covered with chocolate buttercream) topped with my first ever handmade sugar shoe and sugar flowers. Teal to match her amazing Peter May dress and a topper to celebrate her love of Jimmy Choos!
