This was my entry in the recent Cake Fest show in Louisiana. It is half of a tiered cake framed for a different approach to a traditional wedding cake. Cake board is covered in fondant and hand decorated and painted. I also created my own molds for this cake. All gold accents are painted with Rolkem gold, so they are 100% edible unlike some other gold dusts. Cake stand, board and table stand were all custom made for the cake. Frame is non edible.
