This cake is based on My Little Ponies and the birthday girl herself explained how she wanted her cake and we came up with this design!!!

Amelia wanted rainbow ruffles with the my little ponies on top and also a big star and silver 5. Amelia has a good design head on her I think! I had to put the star on the front of the cake as the top was taken up with the ponies. But the rest is pretty much spot on for what she wanted!

The ponies – Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are all handmade from fondant by Blissfully Sweet and completely edible. I have to admit to never seeing one of these little toys in real life and still thank Google for most of my reference material!!! I have been informed though that they are pretty good fondant dopplegangers for the real thing!

The tall double height tier was covered in rainbow ruffles to match the colour of the ponies.
