I was thrilled to be invited to create a set of sugar shoes on a theme of my choice, for the latest edition of Cake Masters magazine. I decided on ‘Comic book heroes and villians’, as my theme and chose four female DC Comics characters, who’s looks I thought would make for fabulously fun and funky shoes that I myself would love to strut my stuff in!

I loved the Wonder Woman show with Linda Carter, when I was a kid, so this character was a shoe-in (sorry, haha!) when choosing designs! A peeptoe slingback shoe, based upon her classic red white and blue, star-spangled costume, complete with a gold heel with a red star to represent her headband and gold trim for her lasso.
