This cake weighed 1stone and was 17" long! This cake was a first for me, so I researched lots of pictures of African Snails to help sculpt ip the cake. I used piping gel to get the ‘slime’ look for the body. The shell was hand painted as I wanted a little more control than with an airbrush.
