I have been wanting to do a book cake for so long, so when I got asked to make this cake for an 18th birthday I was a bit excited.
Each book is a separate cake in different flavours.
I couldn’t resist putting on a few of the night lock berries too :)

Thanks. The board was super easy…I just laid strips of fondant in a plank style, used the back of a knife to score some lines and painted it with brown food colour gel with a little vodka. (Now I know how easy it is I think I will be doing a few more of the,) :)
