This is my first collaboration project ever, and I was absolutely thrilled when I was asked to be a part of something so wonderful such as Christmas by Samantha of Bake A Christmas Wish group.

Well, I wanted to do something different for this project. Something I have not done before.
So I choose to do a figure on this hip toes.. Grinch is my family favorite movie. My kids absolutely adore him.
So I knew my kids would find it fun too.

Sculpting and hand painting are not my forte. I made an armature for the first time to do the figure. It took me a while to learn how to balance him on his toes and still look natural.

I never made a cake with a backdrop before and so I choose to give that a try too. I do some hand painted flowers but I never attempted such a scene before.

Was definitely more challenging then I had anticipated but worth all the effort in the end..

Most importantly, It was fun to feel that I’m part of a team working on a common project.
