This Seusstastic birthday cake is our tallest cake to date! Clocking in at over 5 feet tall, this banana walnut with peanut butter frosting monstrosity was a lot of fun to make! It was also our first cake to utilize a PVC pipe for infrastructure. Hooray for learning on reality TV!

Here’s a cake of Smaug the dragon greedily guarding his hoard of treasure, made for a dad and husband who’s a huge Tolkien and fantasy nut. Everything is edible, save for some armature wire for Smaug’s wings and a stick propping up his head forward.

This cake was commissioned by a lady for her chef boyfriend with a fondness for shrimp dimsum. Everything is edible … but sweet. Cake is a chocolate cake with ferrero hazelnut frosting.

This cake was commissioned by someone wishing to give his girlfriend, a fan of the classic Disney animation, an epic birthday cake. Total cake height is almost 15” tall. Entire cake is edible, save for some minimal armature wire in the banister and the characters.
