silent cakes

I agree with everything you said…that’s why I posted almost 8500 comments already :). On the other hand, I have to say that thanks to members like you, the percentage of the silent cakes is much lower than it was in the beginning ;).

Hi i only joined the other day, what are silent cakes? ones no one has commented on? as ive commented on a few, as you say they are brilliant, but its not showing my comments.x

Yes Enjays.. cakes no one has commented on..there is a link towards the top right of your screen showing cakes with no comments..some are just amazing.. Im new here as well and find its rare anyone comments unless its someone you know. I think people should be encouraging others and being kind about the whole thing..if its a great cake..let them know!! It is weird that your comments arent showing up tho.. hmm maybe you could contact Michal that commented above..he seems to know whats going on with everything haha… did u like how i passed the buck there Michal lol

I agree totally, being in the craft industry people need encouragement, thats what makes it such a nice industry to be in, i feel quite inadequate scrolling through all the amazing cake and all the fresh ideas people come up with is amazing!!. I’ll go check, might have just not refreshed the page lol, xx

I try to comment on cakes but sometimes they are just too many to post a comment on each one. You are right, though. Sometimes I see gorgeous cakes without one single comment.

Great job Zeeyone, now we have to believe that everyone who reads this thread will go and comment few silent cakes ;)

Enjays – almost all pages are cashed to increase the speed of whole website. That’s why you sometimes don’t see the changes right away.

I couldn’t agree more with Zeeyone – I’ve wondered the same thing myself. There are outstandings cakes posted on a daily basis with no comments at all. When I see a cake that’s really nice, I always try to make some comment – even if it’s only a couple of words. So, come on bakers… let’s support our colleagues and give them the recognition they deserve when they make a beautiful and difficult cake.

I’m in agreement too. I try to scroll through and make comments. I know how happy I am when I get one. I am continually amazed at some of the creativity of the bakers/decorators.
