My name is Serkan Yener.
Me and my father, Serdar Yener, founded Yeners Way together to share my father's incredible knowledge and passion for the art of cake decorating, with the world.
After a lifetime of working as an Executive Pastry Chef in many hotels around the world, Serdar decided to create something on his own and opened a cake shop in 1996. So for about 20 years, we've run a family cake business called Yeners Cakes, located in Eastern Australia. I have worked there for the past 15 years. At Yeners Cakes, we've literally made thousands and thousands of cakes for all occasions and events.
It's been a few years since the idea of Yeners Way was conceived, and after a year in the making, I created the Yeners Way website as a platform for my dad to showcase his amazing artistry and share it with the world. Not only does he have a plethora of original ideas and techniques, his ability to inspire and teach in such a simple and easy to follow way is what I believe, makes him a master in his field.
Yeners Way was launched in April 2014 and we were absolutey honored to be a Finalist in the Best Learning Experience category at the Cake Masters Magazine Awards 2015.
At Yeners Way, Serdar shares his techniques, methods, style, design and original creations, mainly in the form of online video tutorials and courses accompanied with downloadable blueprints and templates. There are also free recipes, resources, tools, a gallery, a forum and built in social network.
We hope that Yeners Way will help and inspire people to make amazing cakes for fun, friends, family or for business. We also hope to inspire and share all our past and current creations, as well as free tutorials, with the wonderful community here at CakesDecor :)
