Made this cake for my brother and nephew whose birthday was on the same day, they had recently had a mini break at Legoland Hotel in windsor.

My nephew and daughters took great delight in removing the hat and taking turns to have it on their heads.

The cake is a 6” Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and the hat and base (bottom of cake) is made of RKT (first attempt).

My sister-in-law loves anything related to Audrey Hepburn and as she’s always willing to help me out, I made this for her resent birthday its a 6” Gluten free (she’s a Celiac) chocolate cake with Baileys Buttercream (another great love of her life).

6” Vanilla Cake & Buttercream

This cake was requested by one of my daughters friends mum for her son-in-law who’s a keen photographer, she orginally wanted the cake to be covered in a piped swirl pattern, including the causal flowers (one of his favourite photos is of white hat with black swirls), but I felt for a 6” cake it would look to busy and suggested we leave it with just the flowers).
