I am not an expert at this by any means. I have just done a ton of trial and lots of errors so I wanted to share what I learned so far. If anyone has anymore tips please let me know and I will adjust the tutorial.
What you will need:
Isomalt Crystals
Distilled Water
Ice Cubes (I recommend not using bagged ice. I has holes and makes it difficult to get the coral out)

I received a lot of interest in this cake board for my latest cake which had a boot on it and so have put together a few pictures I took during the process.
1. Roll out fondant onto board. Mix the fondant to the lightest shade of the stone and add bits of darker shades, roughly moulded in to the paste (I use fairly old fondant mixed with tylose to avoid ripping of the fondant at this stage and also mix bits of old and dry fondant in to create more of an ‘outdoor’ look!)

So …. I am back from Holiday down the coast of NSW. On my trip I visited a scrapbook shop call Amanda’s of Mogo. And I saw this beautiful Wood Florishes. Spotlight have them too and they are very cheap. ;) Around $3.00 each. Cool right ??? And they are perfect for making moulds and embossing. Fantastic!!!!!!
Don’t forget you can use leftover fondant for make your moulds. ;)

Hi all !!!
Here is a quick little tutorial on an easy and fast way to make Alphabet ( or any other type) of blocks. It’s fast and you don’t have to worry about things drying and you save on fondant. Be sure to use shortening for glue and NOT vodka. As any water or vodka dissolves the sugar cubes completely.

Last week I needed a luau-themed sweet treat to feed a crowd, so I decided to make mini cupcakes with tiki head toppers made out of chocolate rolled fondant. This is a lot of fun and very kid-friendly, so it’s something the whole family can do as a group activity.
