Very easy Rose using one sized cutter can be made any size, but I usually make the biggest possible Equipment: Gumpaste, white fat, veiner, foam pad for thinning, ball tool, Rose cutter (I use Jem large set -available Sugarcraft Hawkes Bay) rolling pinRoll ball of gumpaste into ball then roll one side to form cone shape so it is 3/4 size of cutter you are using, allow to dry overnight 1.Roll out gumpaste very thin, cut out your petal, I’m using the Jem roller pad so I use my c...
Gather your materials (add a ruler or straight edge to this list!) Knead in a little tylose powder to your coloured fondant. My ratio is 1tsp tylose to 250g of fondant. Roll ropes of fondant (now gumpaste!) to desired thickness. Keep one rope a little thicker than the rest. Here the green is slightly larger. This will help when it’s time to insert the toothpick supports. When you have all of your ropes, roll over them with a fondant smoother to neaten and to remove any finger ind...
The final product =)

two brands of food safe FDA approved silicone mold I use . I buy this two from Michael’s using 40-50% coupons. The box comes with two different colored component. varieties of knick knacks one may use to make a silicone mold impression :) hunt around your house for a “dish” deep enough to hold the mold you’re planning to make. It doesn’t have to be fancy, even a disposable container cover will do :) take equal amount of each silicone component, knead ...
This is a pillow cake for a 50th birthday. The shoe is made of fondant/gumpaste and completely edible. We two-toned the fondant with purple on the bottom and biege on top with white royal accents. 10 inch and 6 inch tiers are of yellow cake and filled with chocolate mousse and oreo cookie crumbs. The pans were the newest in the Wilton line and simply great to use. We were so impressed that we can’t wait till we need to make another. Here is a brief showcasing of what we did an...
