Made this simple swiss roll for my husband to have it with evening tea. Confession time: My daughter and I finished it off before he came. :-) Never knew a swiss roll is such an easy one.
Ingredients:
3 medium eggs
75g caster sugar
75g plain flour
25g Cocoa Powder

Castle Cake:I found these snaps in my archive and thought it would help some one. Very fond memories are associated with this cake as this was my daughter’s first B day cake. I was showing Sydney a two tone royal icing brush embroidery (that is a mouthful), and she thought the cookies would be a wonderful dessert to create for Mother’s Day. I wanted to try something funny on my brother’s B day and so, made an Asian toilet cake … By any chance if any of you want to try out this DISGUSTING cake for your friends, here it is.. :-) I had only round pan and had to cut both sides. Better to make using a rectangular pan. B/w the BROWN THING was made by mixing melted chocolate and remaining cake. Wasnt that yummy??? ;-)Enjoy!!! :-)

How to make fondant OWL
The steps are so simple that even kids can make this owl… :-)
Just follow the steps as shown in the picture. Use edible ink for eye lashes and eye ball.For beak, just make a cone and cut the tip using a knife. For feet, make a small round shape fondant and cut into half. Now, on each half, make 3 cuts using a knife. Owl’s head and body was attached using a tooth pick and melted white chocolate.
